Is Your Registration, License, or Inspection About to Expire in Quarantine? Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Worry!

By April 21, 2020 May 4th, 2020 Personal Insurance

In response to COVID-19, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has extended expiration dates for driver’s licenses, ID cards, vehicle registration, and safety and emission inspections across the state of Pennsylvania.

Driver’s license/state ID expiring between March 16th and April 30th are extended until May 31st and Registration/inspection (safety and emission) expiring March 31st or April 30th extended until June 30th.

As we continue to monitor the situation and Governor Wolf’s response, we will continue to update you on when we believe The Yurconic Agency and our driver’s license services will be up and running. The health and safety of our community members and our staff continues to be our top priority. As soon as it is safe to reopen, we will send out email communication to our customers. However, if your license, registration, or inspection/emission is set to expire while PennDOT service centers are closed, don’t worry! You will not be faulted for the expiration.

If you would like to be notified of any updates to our services, as well as receive a notification about when our insurance offices and driver’s license and vehicle services will be reopening, please fill out the form below!

Thank you so much for your patience and support as we get through this together.
